Wine & Hors D'oeuvres Reception

Taking place in the beautiful May Museum at Rancho San Rafael Park, a wine and hors d'oeuvres reception will be held from 7:30-11 pm immediately following our 7:00 pm wedding ceremony. A variety of our favorite white and red wines will be served to complement our delicious hors d'oeuvres menu designed and prepared by Cherry Bomb Catering.

Hors D'oeuvres Menu:

- Hot Artichoke & Spinach Dip w/ Sourdough Bites
- Blue Cheese & Balsamic Stuffed Mushrooms
- Chicken & Sundried Tomato Bruschetta
- Chipotle Chicken Skewers
- Antipasto Tray
- Meat & Cheese Platter w/ Artisan Rolls


A selection of our favorite domestic and imported beer will also be available at the bar, as well as several non-alcoholic beverages.

Dessert is going to be a unique and delicious surprise for our guests designed and prepared by Batch Cupcakery. Let's just say it puts a creative twist on the traditional wedding cake!

Invitations

Two months until the big day! Invitations have been sent. We look forward to receiving your RSVP cards in the mail! Hope everyone can attend our special day. Thanks a bunch to The Stylish Scribe who did a FABULOUS job creating a unique and beautiful design that reflects our wedding theme and colors!

Honeymoon!

Yes! We have finally booked our honeymoon. We will be staying at the Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas. So excited!

Bridesmaids!

The bridesmaids have been chosen! I am so thrilled to have Megan (MOH), Bebo, Katie, Sarah, and Lacey be part of my special day. Love you girls! Let the dress hunting begin!

Each one of my 'maids received a mini champagne bottle, topped off with ribbon in colors of my wedding, and the following poem:

The day, the dress
The bride, the groom
The joy, the tears
Will all come soon

Hand in hand
With my husband-to-be
My family and friends
All watching me

Wedding Ceremony and Reception Site

Wedding events will be held at beautiful Rancho San Rafael Park in our hometown of Reno, Nevada. It is located about two miles from the downtown area across from the UNR campus where we both graduated. The ceremony will be held outside at Honey's Garden at 7:00 pm on Saturday, July 24, 2010:






A wine and hor d'oeuvres reception will immediately follow the ceremony. It will be held at the Garden Court inside of the May Museum, just a few yards up from Honey's Garden. Once the ceremony is complete, guests will take a short walk through elegantly landscaped, colorful gardens filled with flowering plants and trees, and spectacular views of the park's gorgeous arboretum and the Sierra Nevada Mountains:
